COVID-19 impact on weekly time spent using chat VOIP apps India 2020

As per the results of a survey on the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic on media usage across India, it was observed that there was a spike in usage of VOIP chat applications in the first phase of a nation-wide lockdown. This stabilized in the following weeks with individual users reporting to have used chat applications for a little over five hours between March 28 and April 3, 2020. In comparison, users spent close to four hours using chat applications in the the week preceding the coronavirus lockdown.
