Main reasons to purchase goods in bulk due to COVID-19 in Vietnam 2020

According to a survey by Rakuten Insight on panic buying after the coronavirus outbreak, 37.53 percent of Vietnamese respondents stated that they stocked up on items because they thought that they or their household might be quarantined and would therefore not be able to buy groceries. In the same survey, 61.57 percent of respondents indicated that they had not engaged in panic buying because of the coronavirus pandemic, while 38.43 percent of respondents did.
