After the declaration of the state of alarm on March 14, 2020 due to COVID-19, Spain experienced a phenomenon hitherto unknown in the country's recent history: a quarantine.
For approximately eight weeks and following the government measures established, the population was confined to their homes trying to avoid the contagion of the dreaded SARS-CoV-2. During that time, watching series and movies was for 75 percent of the respondents the best option to get through the confinement.
