In 2020, Broadcaster Video-on-Demand (BVoD) networks in the European Union reported revenues of 0.7 billion euros in total. Correlating to an increase in online consumption by users, looking back to 2015 the year on year trend shows revenue rising to reaching distance of nearly one billion euros.
