Discount methods for online shopping among consumers in Australia in 2020
A survey among Australian consumers revealed that directly provided online codes were the most popular discount methods among consumers, with three-in-five consumers reportedly using online codes. According to the source, Gen Y would even more likely use online discount and promo codes, at 73 percent of Gen Y shoppers. Use of sites or platforms for online discount, such as CashRewards and Shopback, was also popular among consumers, at respectively 23 and 17 percent of respondents.
