Global opinions on video games 2021, by gender

According to a May 2021 survey of both gamers and non-gamers worldwide, when it comes to describing video games women and men have roughly the same opinions. The percentage of women who find video games "amusing" corresponds to 46 percent, while this figure rises to 53 percent in the case of men. Inclusivity is not a word highly associated to video games by responders worldwide, however 10 percent of men would describe them as "inclusive", while only seven percent of women would.
