In 2024, Nintendo Switch generated over ten billion U.S. dollars globally for Nintendo, its lowest sales revenue since 2020 when the Switch platform generated a record about 11.3 billion U.S. dollars in sales revenue. Nintendo Switch has been the company's flagship gaming console since its release in 2017, quickly overtaking Nintendo 3DS's popularity to become Nintendo's most sold product.
