The Subscription Video-on-Demand (SVoD) services Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu are projected to spend more on acquired programming than on original and sports content in 2021. On the other hand, original programming expenditures of HBO, Disney+, and Paramount+ are estimated to be higher than expenses on aquired content. Amazon is the only SVoD platform that is forecst to invest in sports in 2021.
