According to a forecast based on results from June 2022, Netflix will remain the market leader among subscription-based streaming services in the United States in 2027 with an estimated revenue of 10.4 billion U.S. dollars. SVOD services were projected to generate 57.1 billion dollars in 2027 which is only a small increase from 2024 compared with the previous years. The main reasons for this stagnant growth are price competition combined with a lower average revenue per user from new hybrid models.
