
Consumer trust in merchants' ability to prevent e-commerce fraud 2021, by country
A 2021 survey conducted in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, and France revealed that just over one-third of online shoppers trust the ability of merchants to prevent e-commerce-related fraud. Of the countries surveyed, U.S. consumers were slightly more confident in online retailers' capacity to prevent such attacks, with 36 percent agreeing to this statement.
