Household loans growth rate forecast Europe 2023, by country

Latvia was at the top of this ranking of 25 European countries sorted by the growth rate of their volume of loans and advances to households in 2021. Loans to households in Latvia are expected to grow by over 12 percent that year. Meanwhile, the loans and advances market in Cyprus is expected to increase by 0.17 percent in 2021, 8.4 percent in 2022, and 10.4 percent in 2023. Overall, the total value of the household loans market in the EU as a whole is expected to reach roughly 6.4 trillion euros by 2023.
