The value of outstanding loans from monetary financial institutions to non-financial corporations in the euro area increased during last year, reaching 534 billion euros in April 2022. Meanwhile, the value of business loans outstanding in April 2021 was roughly 466 billion euros. The interest rates on business loans in the Eurozone have remained relatively stable during the past months.
