Business loan interest rates in the euro area 2022, by country
The Netherlands was the country in the Eurozone with the lowest average interest rates on non-financial corporations at approximately 1.05 percent as of April 2022. Meanwhile, the average business loan interest rate for the euro area was 1.51 percent. On the other side of the spectrum, Malta and Greece were two of the countries with the highest business loan interest rates at 3.82 and 3.58 percent, respectively. In comparison, the interest rates on consumer loans in Eurozone countries are significantly more varied.
