Loans and advances to households in the EU 2021, by country and type
Out of the 28 selected European countries in the list, France was the one with the largest volume of loans and advances to households as of December 2021, amounting to roughly two trillion euros. In the second place, household loans in Spain reached 1.18 trillion euros that same year. The Netherlands is the third country with the highest volume of loans, which were worth 767 billion euros that same year.
