Most played mobile gaming app genres among mobile gamers in the U.S. 2022

According to a survey conducted during the second quarter of 2022 among mobile gamers in the United States, puzzle apps were the most engaging gaming genres among the surveyed users, with 63 percent of respondents reporting using gaming apps in this category. Word games followed, with over half of the respondents reporting using this mobile gaming genre. Additionally, over 30 percent of respondents reported engaging with mobile casino games, while 22 percent reported playing RPG (role-playing game) mobile apps.
