Reasons for canceling ad-supported video services in the U.S. 2022
According to a survey from November 2022, financial issues drove U.S. viewers the most to cancel an ad-supported video subscription, with 35 percent of respondents stating this as their main reason. Further 31 percent said that they have not used the platform enough. Interestingly, ad avoidance was one of the least popular reasons for canceling an ad-supported TV and video service.
