Source of information to make a viewing decision India 2022
Trailers and teaser videos were the leading source of information that influenced viewing decisions across verticals in India, especially linear TV, as indicated by 28 percent of respondents of a survey conducted in October 2022. Other sources included reviews and ratings and ad promos which had a greater impact on OTT viewers' decision-making. Interestingly, information about celebrities had the least impact on viewers' decision to watch movies.
