Latin America and the Caribbean: centrifugal sugar consumption 2023, by country
In 2023, it was estimated that Brazil was the leading consumer of sugar in Latin America and the Caribbean, with a consumption volume of about 9.54 million metric tons. Ranking second and third were Mexico and Colombia, with 4.41 million metric tons and 1.89 million metric tons consumed, respectively.
