As of late 2016, the largest central market in Canada based on radio audience in that period was Toronto, with approximately 5.4 million people listening to the radio in the area. All in all, the most played radio song in the country in 2016 was that of Canada's own Justin Bieber - Love Yourself, which aired approximately 92 thousand times that year.
