This statistic displays a ranking of most valuable Turkish brands in 2016, sorted by brand value. With a brand value of about 2.45 billion U.S. dollars, Turkish Airlines is the leading Turkish brand in 2016. Just behind Turkish Airlines is Türk Telekom, with a value of 2.3 billion U.S. dollars.
Turkish Airlines is the countries main airline, as of July 2015 it operates to over 290 different destinations all over the world, this making it the worlds fourth largest airline carrier.
Türk Telekom is one of the countries largest telecommunication groups, supporting services such as PSTN, GSM and wide band internet.
Turky has shown an increase in the amount it exports since 2005, with an increase of nearly double, to 143 billion U.S. dollars in 2015. The main export partners with Turkey, are Germany at 9.3 percent, and the United Kingdom with 7.3 percent.
There has been a steady value for the import of goods into Turkey since 2008, with the total import value not changing much. Most of the goods coming into Turkey come from China, who holds a 12 import share into the country. Germany is second with a import share of 10.3 percent.
