Worldwide mobile app user retention rate 2014

This statistic presents the app categories with the highest abandonment rates as of March 2014. During the survey period it was found that 23 percent of sports apps were only accessed once during the first six months of ownership. In 2015, a total of 25 percent apps downloaded by mobile app users worldwide were only accessed once during the first six months of ownership.
