Downloads of selected mobile streaming apps worldwide 2022

In July 2022, Netflix was the leading video streaming app based on the number of downloads worldwide, with roughly 18.63 million downloads. Disney+ followed, with 15.16 million downloads. Amazon Prime Video ranked third, with 12.45 million downloads during the examined month. Indian films and video streaming platform ZEE5 ranked fourth in this selection, with more than 7.18 million app downloads in the examined period. Additionally, the mobile app of popular streaming service ViX -operated by the Mexican-American- TelvisaUnivision amassed 5.5 million downloads from global users in July 2022.
