  As the most practical option for the consumer, home delivery or work delivery still are the favorite among French e-consumers. Beside choosing a pick-up & go location for their orders, the possibility to “click&collect” directly in the physical store of the retailer also seduces the consumer for its lower delivery costs: 42 percent of French surveyed stated using this option to avoid charges. Furthermore, the progress of the delivery option click&reserve may be an alternative for e-consumer who have doubts concerning the security of their payment data online.

  Statista’s Digital Market Outlook estimates the revenue of E-commerce in France amounting to about 44 million euros in 2019. In a survey from August 2018, 37 percent of the French purchased online at least once a month and 14 percent did so once a week. Finally, more than half of French consumers also used mobile devices for purchasing online.
