This statistic shows which environmental issues adults worried most about in the European Union (EU) in 2014, by gender. For more than 50 percent of both male and female respondents each air pollution and water pollution were among the main environmental issues of concern. 5 percent more women than men said they worried about the impact of chemicals in everyday products on their health, while 5 percent more men than women were concerned about the depletion of natural resources.
