Opinion on young people going abroad for career reasons in Italy 2011-2019

Between 2011 and 2019, the conviction that young people were supposed to leave Italy in order to have career chances increased among Italian respondents. In 2011, 56 percent of interviews believed that the young generations had the chance to pursue a career only if they moved abroad. In 2019, the share of people stating so grew by 75 percent.

Is going abroad the only hope for young people who want to pursue a career?
