This statistic presents the share of encountered social media content about race or race relations according to social media users in the United States as of May 2016, sorted by ethnicity. During the survey period, 24 percent of black respondents stated that most of the posts they saw on social networking sites were about race or race relations. Only six percent of white respondents stated the same.
