Extra-virgin olive oil is associated with a lower risk of osteoporosis-related fractures in middle-aged and elderly Mediterranean population at high cardiovascular risk. As of the survey period, almost half of the respondents (42 percent) in Europe, on average, admitted to use extra-virgin olive oil frequently.
