This statistic illustrates the share of internet users who shopped for groceries online in Italy in 2016, by age group. According to the study results, respondents aged between 25 and 44 years as well as respondents over 75 years were the most likely to shop online for groceries. Four percent of Internet users of these age groups had purchased groceries online at least once in 2016. By contrast, only one percent of respondents aged between 16 and 24 years had shopped for groceries online.
