This statistic represents the share of non-readers in Italy in 2010 and 2016, by type of Internet usage. According to survey results, the share of people who read no books in the previous year increased by around 15 percent points among all Internet users: in 2010, less than a third of daily Internet users were non-readers. By contrast, this share had increased to over 45 percent by 2016.
