This statistic illustrates the best-selling product categories in e-commerce in Italy in 2013. According to the study, the best-selling products among online shoppers were clothing and apparel (15 percent of respondents), books (14.6 percent) and travel tickets (11 percent). By contrast, only 2.5 percent of consumers had purchased food online in the previous three months.
