During a 2020 study fielded in Colombia, almost 45 percent of responding newspaper readers stated that they had read newspapers several times a week during the month preceding the survey. More than 26 percent of the subjects said they had read newspapers once a week, while the share of respondents who had consumed it every day stood below 20 percent. Newspapers were particularly popular among Colombians aged between 26 and 64 years.
