The statistic displays the active Instagram users as a percentage of total population in Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands as of January 2018. As of early 2018, the share of active Instagram users as percentage of total population in the Benelux region was highest in the Netherlands, and roughly equal in Belgium and Luxembourg. In the Netherlands, roughly 30 percent of the population actively used Instagram in 2018, whereas in both Belgium and Luxembourg the penetration rate was just above 25 percent for both countries.
