Share of Australians consuming plant-based meat and dairy substitutes Australia 2023
In a survey conducted from April 2022 to March 2023 among Australian consumers about their food consumption habits, around 26 percent of those surveyed reported that they were consumers of dairy substitutes. Just over one-in-ten Australian respondents indicated that they regularly consumed meat alternatives. Nonetheless, larger shares of the Australian population do not consume meat or dairy substitutes.
