Most popular functional beverage types in China 2019, by gender
According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in November 2019, around 62.4 percent of female respondents in mainland China said that they had consumed fermented and probiotic drinks that claimed to promote gut health, such as kombucha tea or beverages with added raw apple cider vinegar. Meanwhile, 52.7 percent of male respondents confirmed this statement as well.
