Over one third of the families surveyed for this study stated that during the coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic in Romania in 2020, there were moments when they were not able to purchase food or other necessary goods for their children. Moreover, 23 percent of respondents were not able to buy medicine for their children because they either could not find it in pharmacies or they could not afford to purchase it.
