Future prospects of retail companies due to COVID-19 in Finland 2020, by sector
According to a survey from April 2020, the majority of the retail sector companies operating grocery stores and supermarkets in Finland were relatively certain about their future. The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic had a more negative impact on companies in the specialty and department store sector. Wholesale companies, excluding technical wholesale, were also more affected by the uncertainty caused by the coronavirus outbreak.
