In a survey conducted in 2020, regarding whether or not respondents across the Asia Pacific region cooked more during the coronavirus pandemic, 29 percent of female respondents stated that their cooking and serving of meals increased. Comparatively, for the same survey 55 percent of the male respondents in the Asia Pacific region stated that they did not usually cook or serve meals, therefore, it did not increase.
