Video game subscription services provide gamers with access to a library of hundreds of video games for a fixed subscription fee, often offering different tiers which provide various features and upgrades. With access to so many games at their fingertips, it is no wonder that some gamers find themselves spending more time in front of a screen. During a survey carried out in the United States in May and June 2020, 50 percent of respondents stated that they played more video games as a result of having a monthly subscription service.
