Japan: awareness of Fairtrade by age 2023

Around half of Japanese consumers were aware of the term "Fairtrade" as revealed in a survey conducted in October 2023. Young people aged 15 to 19 years showed the highest awareness of fairtrade, with almost 40 percent stating to know the term and its meaning, while another 25 percent had at least heard of the term.
