Ranking of the most read digital newspapers in Lima, Peru 2021
In November 2021, seven out of the 10 most-read digital newspapers in the metropolitan area of Lima, Peru, belonged to the same holding. The Grupo El Comercio (GEC) runs El Comercio, Trome, Gestión, Perú 21, Ojo, Depor, and Correo. El Comercio had nearly 636 thousand daily digital readers that month, while its main competitor, La República, had around 337 thousand readers. Approximately 55 percent of internet users surveyed in early 2021 expressed trust in El Comercio in Peru.
