In 2021, when asked if they had ever purchased anything during a livestream shopping event, more than three-quarters of U.S. respondents between the ages of 35 and 44 said they had. In contrast, users under 18 years old were the least likely to make purchases at live commerce events. According to projections, the size of the live commerce market in the United States was about 11 billion U.S. dollars that year.
