Social media usage in Russia 2022, by platform
In a survey conducted from March 14 to March 18, 2022, an estimated 70 percent of social media users in Russia reported to have used VK (Vkontakte) in the past seven days. Odnoklassniki (Ok.ru) ranked second, with roughly 40 percent using it over the past week. Overall, the daily audience of Russian social media platforms increased significantly following the banning of Meta platforms Instagram and Facebook in March 2022.
