According to a survey conducted in 2023, 67 percent of participants found Ford electric pickup trucks most appealing after the branding and exact Model was revealed, while only 27 percent considered buying Tesla's Cybertruck.

The order these vehicles were shown was randomized. 216 respondents were shown the RAM 1500, 217 respondents were shown the Ford F-150 Lightning, 217 respondents were shown the Chevrolet Silverado EV, 216 respondents were shown the GMC Hummer EV Pickup, 217 respondents were shown the Rivian R1T, and 217 respondents were shown the Tesla Cybertruck.

The results represent the share of consumers shown each model who would consider purchasing the model after knowing what the model/brand was.
