Print newspaper price increase worldwide 2022

As publishers of print media seek to recoup profits from the shift towards digitalization of the industry, print prices seem to be going up. A survey of publishers from 32 countries worldwide found that the majority, or 41.3 percent of surveyed national and regional news publishers, increased the price of their print newspaper by 11 to 20 percent, whereas just over on third raised their prices by 10 percent or less. A small percentage increased their print newspaper price by more than 50 percent.
