The newspaper advertising expenditure in Turkey went down from 856 million Turkish lira in 2010 to 387 million Turkish lira in 2021. In 2013, newspaper advertising expenditure reached a record value of over one billion Turkish lira and began to decrease afterwards. By 2022, the value of expenditure showed a slight increase from the previous year, amounting to 480 million Turkish lira.
