As of June 2022, Facebook was the leading social media platform in Mexico in terms of audience figures with approximately 93.66 million users. TikTok followed with almost 47.75 million users in the region, surpassing Instagram for the first time, registering an audience of 36.34 million users. Meanwhile, Pinterest and LinkedIn registered similar numbers of 17.98 million and 17.92 million users each across the country.
