U.S. internet usage penetration by age and device 2022

According to a 2022 survey of internet users in the United States, 91 percent of users between 30 and 49 years regularly use a smartphone to go online. Young adults between 18 and 29 years ranked second with 87 percent. Smart TV was the second most used device named by the respondents, enabling more than half of the respondents between 50 and 64 years to connect to the internet.
