According to a study published in January 2023, roughly a quarter of surveyed non-national museums in England recorded between 10 thousand to 100 thousand unique website visitors in the 2021/2022 fiscal year. That said, while 46 percent of large museums reported more than 100 thousand web visitors, just three percent of surveyed micro museums stated the same.
