Museums: educational visits in England 2022

The number of educational visits to DCMS-sponsored museums in England by under-18-year-old visitors in formal education rose in 2021/2022 over the previous fiscal year, after dropping sharply with the onset of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Despite the increase, educational visits remained below pre-pandemic levels. Overall, National Museums Liverpool reported the highest figure between April 2021 and March 2022, with roughly 158 thousand visits.
