Change in online travel platform user numbers in China 2023, by city tier

In March 2023, the number of online travel platform users in the second-tier cities in China increased by more than 140 percent compared to March 2022. In comparison, the numbers in tier-1 cities, namely Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen, grew by approximately 62 percent in the same period.
